Directions to Quemado, NM

Directions From Gallup, NM (I-40): Head South on NM-602 S, head south until you hit NM-53 E. Take a quick left onto NM-53 E for about half a mile, then a right onto NM-36 S. Follow that for about 32 miles then turn left to stay on NM-36 S. Follow NM-36 S to US 60 and take a right and follow that until you see our sign!

Directions From Socorro, NM (I-25): From Socorro, turn onto US-60 W. Follow that until you hit Quemado, then follow the road until you see our sign!

Directions From Springerville, AZ (US-60): From Springerville, you will head out of town on the US-60. Follow that road for about 48mi until you see our sign!

Reserve, New Mexico

Located just an hour's drive from Quemado, New Mexico, Reserve also lies in Catron County. It was named after an attorney and political leader from Santa Fe, Thomas B. Catron. In the 1860s, Mexican-Americans established a string of villages along the San Francisco River, naming them the Upper, Lower, and Middle San Francisco Plazas.
